Pillow Suckers!

My pups are nutty! So we have a little battle going on in my house. Inside my boys cages, they each have a soft, fuzzy dog pillow which Boo likes to drag out and suck on. (He's obviously got an oral fixation.) The problem with this is sometimes his sucking causes a tiny little hole, which Scout then finds and  proceeds to pulls all the stuffing out. I've repaired said pillows numerous times and scolded the boys about this more times than I can count but they just do what they want. This morning, I'm eating breakfast and Jim says, "You have to see this." So I gaze down into the family room and Boo and Scout are laying down side by side (nearly spooning) with one of the pillows. Boo is sucking on the corner like he does and Scout is gently cleaning Boo's ears. As I'm watching, Boo rises up a little and they do the old switcheroo...Scout starts sucking on the pillow and Boo cleans Scouty's ears. Man I love those boys. How am I supposed to scold them when they act like this?!

And then I see they've dragged my shirt and a sock of Jim's downstairs and left them in the middle of the floor! TURKEYS!!!

Hmm...why is the plural for turkey - turkeys, instead of turkies? Someone get on that!

Last night was Open House. I was concerned that the crazy lady would show up but thankfully she didn't. I had a total of 4 parents for all my 6 bells show up. Pretty good showing for me! I was out by 8:00, home by 8:20 but slightly wound up so I didn't get to bed until 9:30ish. I read for a while but I still feel well rested. Probably because Scout and I cuddled all night.

I didn't get done what I'd hoped to get done last night but I managed to ALMOST complete one of the three upcoming IEPs. The problem is that the IEP has changed slightly and I'm having to get used to that and figure stupid shit out. IEPs are stupid! 

Countdown for new bed: 2 more days until delivery!!!

And that's about all I've got. Jim's out of here early today so I'm going to hang around a little longer than usual to give the boys some time. I'm excited to be able to come home today and give them both a nice walk...it's been since Sunday and they deserve it.
