Legit!

I was reading to Jim the story about the UPS driver who couldn't deliver a package because there was apparently "Bear in driveway" (according to what he had written in the box on the note explaining). I said to Jim, "That's a legit reason...for sure." And then I said, "Legit! I like that word, I'm bringing it back!" And Jim said, "Why did we ever stop saying it?" And I said, "That's a legit question!"

It finally rained here last evening. And don't you know the massive downpour (and I mean MASSIVE...nearly 4 inches per hour according to my fave weatherman Kevin Robinson) was happening as I was trying to grill my blue cheese chicken burgers?! It was ridiculous! But I managed to power through using my handy dandy giant school golf umbrella. That gift has gotten more use than any other. Legit, best gift ever!

You know who didn't care about the rain and proceeded to stand in it getting soaked? Boo! He's a kook and let me tell you when he gets wet, his hair is so scraggly and messy. He looks, legit, like a drowned rat! I love him.

Speaking of my fave subject (my pups, duh) every time Jim or I get up to pee and come back to bed, Scout starts thumping his tail. I said to him early this morning, "Scouty...I was just in the bathroom...you act like you haven't seen me in days!" And then he cuddled up to me and we both fell back to sleep. I love that boy!

Okay well today I have a 1/2 day in the classroom and then the afternoon will be spent at central office getting trained on some science lab website. They've set aside 2 1/2 hours for it which is silly because it isn't going to take that long. But that's okay...no complaints from me. And thankfully, my afternoon is the better time for a sub since it's the easy part of my day (minus the kook in 6th bell but hopefully he'll just sleep...like he legit always does.)

Well, time to get a move on. Happy Thursday! This time tomorrow it will be Friday and we'll be headed into a 3-day weekend! WOOT! Later!
