This is Scout's magic number. The time when his internal, "feed-me" clock goes off. And by the way, that is AM...as in before dawn...when it's still dark...and mommy is still sleeping. This is something I'm trying to break him of but it may
take until I am finally off for the summer. The good thing about his reminder is that I can say, "NO!" and he'll simmer down and wait until I get up a 1/2 hour later. And if you're wondering, Boo doesn't make a sound.
So the weekend was good. Uneventful and relaxing. We got take-out Friday, went to Shooters, cleaned the house, did some yard work and that's about it.
I'm reading a good book. It's by Harlan Coben, an author I saw on Deadline: Whitehouse (with Nicolle Wallace) when they were talking about Barbara Bush (both knew her well) and she said he wrote two of her favorite books. So I decided to check it out and now I can't put the it down (Hold Tight). He's also a series writer so I'll be interested to see about those too.
We have two more days of testing at school although today is a normal schedule. Tuesday and Wednesday will cap off the craziness that is testing and I can't wait to be back to normalcy. Four hours with any one group is too much and it makes the days crawl by.
And that's all I've got today. Time to get to school and figure out what I'm doing. Happy Monday. Here's hoping it's a fast week! Later!
