I was so focused on getting an early start this morning that I forgot to post...sorry.
So Jim is STILL in the hospital and I'm not seeing him get out tomorrow. I sent a text to the nurse (his doc is out of town all week) but haven't heard back from her yet. She was going to look at things and get back to me. I'm not too confident that he'll be out before Wednesday. I've decided, however, to go back tomorrow. I just need some normalcy and a break and there's not a lot I can do for him when he's laid up. I just feel so bad for him laying there all by himself, but his sister sent me a text and is happy to go keep him company. If Wednesday is the day, I may either take that day off or take a half day. AND THEN THAT'S IT!!! No more hospitals and no more liver craziness.
In terms of Jim's health, things are slowly starting to get back to where they need to be. The steroids are doing a number on his psyche though. His emotions are all over the place! 'Roid rage is a real thing. Although for Jim it isn't rage but a lot of tears and being nostalgic and contemplative and sad. It's draining for him...and me. Because you know when he starts to cry, I cry. I've cried more in the last month than anyone should have to!
Okay well that's all I've got. Time to relax (I just sat and worked on an IEP for the last 3 hours) and think about my day tomorrow. Look for an early post! Later!
