So Jim's the king of movie quoting and as a result, I can't watch Forrest Gump anymore. Well, he's done it again. With It's A Wonderful Life. And in a horrible way. So first of all the quote he keeps saying is, "My mouth's bleeding Bert! My mouth's bleeding!" Well there we are watching the news this morning and there was a commercial for some medicine and one of the side effects is "rectal bleeding" and you can imagine Jim's reaction. "Bert! Would you look at that! My rectum's bleeding! My rectum's bleeding!" So wrong. I think we laughed for a solid 5 minutes about that. However, the result is that movie will never be the same for me again.
Went to dinner last night at Cooper's Hawk last night. It was so delicious! I got short rib risotto (I'm a sucker for short rib anything). Lauren's meal got messed up so the manager ended up paying for her meal and then buying the table a bottle of wine. BAM! That's customer service. I look forward to going there with Jim...he'll love it. It had very expensive meals but really reasonably priced meals as well. Their sandwiches and burgers looked great and they have a lite menu too. YUM!
Today, with no Bengals game, I'll crank out a quilt. I've got it pieced together and my goal is to baste it today and at least start the quilting. Then all I have to do is the binding (the edges).
And that's it...time for breakfast and a mimosa. Later!
