It's kind of been a bit of a sad Saturday as this is the first weekend without Bubba. While I was walking Sami and nearing home again, I kept expecting to see Jimmy walking Bubba and saying to Sami, "There's your brother!" Miss that sweet boy. Miss laying on the couch at night watching TV and reaching down, knowing there was a big old sweetie lounging at my side and hoping for a rub.
One good thing is that Sami seems to be acclimating. She doesn't seem to look around in wonder as much. She seems happy and is certainly getting a LOT of attention.
In other news - I had a dream last night that Trip and Susan decided to cut me out of their lives. Not sure why or what I did. Susan wouldn't tell me though it was her decision. Tough week for me in real life and my dreams!
Speaking of Trip and Susan, they're in Columbus and headed toward the zoo today with Eva. Should be a beautiful day for them. How cut are those two? J.J.'s smile is cracking me up. Love that boy. He's so good to his cousin. BTW, how did they do last night sleeping in the same room, Maggie? Hope they got some sleep.
And that's about all I've got. I need to go help Jimmy clean and then who knows what the day will hold. Hamburgers, pasta salad and Brussel Sprouts for dinner. YUM!
