Good Saturday? Easter Saturday?

Does today have a name?  I don't know.  I do know, however, that it is going to be a beautiful day.  It's already gorgeous and after I vacuum and make my Under the Sea Salad, I'm heading outdoors to lay in the sun and read my book.  Just started a new one and I love it.  A Lisa Genova (she wrote Left Neglected and Still Alice...two books I loved).  This one is about a woman whose autistic son has passed away and how she copes with that.  I'm already half way through and only started it yesterday.  I'll review when I complete it.

And how cute is Eva all ready for an Easter egg hunt!  Love her!  She's going to have so much fun.

Last night was fun. It was the first impromptu gathering out in our neighborhood circle.  I got to talk to the new neighbors for the first time.  They have 5 kids and it was nice to get to know some of them too.  We're planning an adult outing to the Lager House sometime in May or early June.  We want to rent a party bus or limo so none of us have to drive. That should be so much fun if it works out.

And that's about it.  I've already walked Sami...it was a really good walk.  She got to see her pal Noah (the dog up on the corner...realistically I think she wants to have his head for dinner), two other sets of dogs also walking, a duck crossing the street, two geese and a horse.  Oh and a dead squirrel in the road (poor little squirrely). A very productive walk for her. I now need to do some straightening and the cooking.  Happy Easter Eve...later!
