Poor Yimmy!

Apparently my hubby was up half the night getting sick.  Not that I was aware of any of this...I slept right through it.  Not sure what that's all about.  Poor fellow. 

In other news - my long night at school was fine. The kids in my room did well and even better they didn't take forever, talking on and on...saying the same thing over and over. I was out of there just a few minutes before 8:00.

Learned some sad news last night about a colleague...hard to believe that I hadn't heard it through the massive rumor mill that our school is.  Just goes to show that A) I'm out of the loop or B) the colleague has better friends, who don't gossip, than she thought.

It's fairly nasty out there today (raining) but is supposed to clear up by noon and the rest of the weekend should be clear. 

I'll head to the grocery after school today...get that out of the way.  Saturday is Madison's play at Lakota...I was hoping that we could all meet for dinner beforehand but J.J. has a three o'clock game and so it will just be Jim and me.  We'll probably head to Silver Spring House around 5:30...should give me plenty of time.  Jim won't go to the play...his hips can't take sitting in those cramped seats for that long (and I can't take him bitching about it and shifting around every 20 seconds disturbing everyone around him). 

And that's about it. Today will be movie day at school.  The kids were a bit wild yesterday and I think they need a break from Othello and US History.  (Not to mention I need some time to get some IEP shit done). 

K - well, I best go check on Jimmy...not sure he'll be eating the breakfast I made him.  Oh well.  Later!  Happy Fibay!
