So Jimmy and I were eating our breakfast this morning and talking about Maggie (as we do most mornings...hee hee)...he asked when she gets back from her sunny va-kay. I said, "Tomorrow...around 9:30 PM...in -4 degree weather...-10 to -15 below wind chills." Jim said, "She's going to walk off the plane and her tan is just going to fall off." I chuckled. That's funny.
So - yeah - Cullen has a "snow day" today in Minnesota. Negative 50 wind chill. Ho! Ly! Shit! He says that once you get to a certain coldness...-25 feels no different than -50. Ugh! And that's the shit coming our way. We won't get that low but Yowza!
In other news - I have an IEP this week. I've written it already so no biggie. This is for a girl whose parent is hit or miss on the reek factor. Sometimes she looks like she's showered and sometimes...well, lets just say her clothes might be sticking to her...in certain places...EWWW! All I'm saying is she could use a beauty treatment or two.
Oh, I just finished Wally Lamb's "We Are Water". I'll review on my book blog when I get a few minutes...tomorrow...during my snow day? Very good. He's always a must read for me. I'll now be on to Patricia Cornwell's latest.
OH MA GOT! I forgot I received a sweet pic of my girl. Must be just after a shower after a nice day at the pool. She's watching Spanish television. Maggie said she loves watching Spanish TV...I'm sure it cracks her up that she understands nothing of what's being said. I can just hear her giggling. Miss her! Maggie said she fell yesterday and scraped her knee and was playing up the drama...acting like she couldn't walk. I'm picturing an actress in our future.
And that's all I've got. I best head upstairs to dry this mop a bit and then hit the windy road. Stay warm out there (unless you're in Punta Cana or California where it's pleasant and warm...or so I've been bragged to! RUDE!). Later!
