Currnet Temp -3°

Brrr...we're in the midst, well at the beginning of another Arctic blast.  Looking at the temps for the next 10 days, there are very few days where the low is above 5°. And on WCPO, for February 2nd, the low is supposed to be -7°.  Now, that is a good 10 days away so I expect some change in that forecast but considering we had a 2-hour delay today due to temps, I can't imagine they're going to keep giving us two-hour delays for the next 2 weeks.  Wouldn't mind though...I enjoy getting up at 6AM and leisurely getting my toilette on.

In Maggie and Charlie news: They made it to Punta Cana yesterday but not without a bit of drama. Their plane from Columbus was set to take off at 7:00 AM which meant they needed to be there at 5:30.  When I texted Maggie at 5AM to see if all was well, she texted back to say, "No...Charlie lost the passports." UGH!  Apparently, Maggie had them (since she was the one who would be checking in) but Charlie decided before leaving the house that he would keep them in his backpack.  So, Maggie gave them to him but he apparently didn't put them in his backpack.  They left for the airport and when Charlie dropped Maggie off and reached into his pack to give her the passports - huh - they weren't there.  He ended up having to drive back home to find them.  Luckily he made it back with the passports in the nick of time. 

I told Jim about this and he said, "Charlie pulled a Jim!" And then he said, "You know what?  Even I wouldn't have done that!"  It's true...he wouldn't have but mainly because I wouldn't have let him hold the passports.  Can you even imagine how dead Jim would be if that had been us?! 

Oh, I totally forgot that we have Parent/Teacher Conferences tomorrow night.  YUCK!  But!  I'll at least be able to write the two IEPs I have coming up in the next week or two. 

Well, that's all I've got.  I don't really need to leave here for another 35 minutes or so.  Hopefully the roads are okay...I'm sure there's ice here and there but I'm sure the highways are fine.  K - happy Hump Day!  Loving three day work weeks!
