Happy New Year!!!  Hope everyone out there had a safe and enjoyable New Year's Eve.  As for Jim and I - we were once again, LAME!  I did have inklings of staying awake but alas, what's the point?  I was happy to take a glass of champagne up to bed, watch a couple episodes of Breaking Bad, switch on When Harry Met Sally to fall asleep to, around 10:00 and awaken at my usual time, sans a headache!

Today's plans:  Well, we've already had a few mimosas, breakfast and I just got back from walking Sami. Jim's walking Bubba, I've hula hooped and will take a nice relaxing bath after posting. Jim wants to get the garage cleaned (his quarterly project...if he'd just throw some of the shit away...blah, blah, blah...sick of saying it and I'm sure you're sick of reading it) and other than that - we'll hang out, watch some more Breaking Bad and enjoy a nice day off.  I'll make our traditional pork and sauerkraut for dinner and...that's about it. 

Tomorrow I'm getting my eyes checked and will get new glasses - hopefully - and possibly contacts.  Of course the weather is supposed to be snowy just around the time for my appointment so I'll play it by ear. Depending, I may leave a bit early with the hope of avoiding the majority of bad.  I need to get to Target as well, which is right by the eye place, so hopefully once I'm done with all that, most of the snow will have fallen and the traffic will have done its job.

K - well, I guess that's all I've got.  Best motor...for no reason other than I want to be in my bathtub.  Happy New Year to all and may this year be better than the last!
