Huh!

So some interesting bits of news:  Jim's mom - would have been 85 today.  Happy birthday Ann...I hope you're whooping it up in heaven with Milo and Rob and Phillip!

A friend on Facebook shared a link of the 16 books you should read before they hit the theater.  Interestingly enough - the first one - Labor Day - is one I've read and really liked.  I didn't realize it was one I'd read when I saw the commercials for it (the one with Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin).  Also, the book that I LOVED by Jonathan Tropper (HILARIOUS!) is coming out in September and look at the cast: Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Rose Byrne, Adam Driver.  Nice.  AND!!!  So excited - they've made a movie out of The Giver!  I've been teaching this book to my kids for the last 14 years!  It stars Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Alexander Skarsgård, Taylor Swift...aside from the Taylor Swift mistake...WOW!  Thrilled!  I'll have to read that with the kids again...maybe this year!

And that's about all I can share with you now because I've run out of time.  Need to finish my toilette and head to school.  It was a good day yesterday...kids seemed ready to be back and in good moods.  Lets hope that continues for another couple of months.
