...this is the day that the lord has made (that the lord has made); we will rejoice (we will rejoice) and be glad in it!
I've had that song in my head since I woke up this morning! I know it wasn't meant to be a ditty celebrating the end of a school year but whatever - I'm still rejoicing and I'm sure the lord doesn't mind taking credit.
So today should prove to be long and boring. I'm meeting the ladies at Perkins at 6:30. (BTW - last time I was at Perkins? Not really sure but I can already taste my pancakes.) After that we'll go back to school, do a little last minute stuff for end of school year and then probably sit and stare at each other. I'm expecting to have to move rooms next year so I may do a little "spring cleaning". There are several shelves full of shit that could certainly use a go-through and/or a "throw away". We have so much JUNK! I'm going to do my best to pitch some stuff.
In other news - I got nothing. Oh, I think I just heard someone ask: What are your plans for the summer, Muir? Well, Jim and I will be taking our week at PIB starting June 8th. We'll take both pups up with us (a first for Sami) and Maggie will come up for a few days as well. The WHOLE family is heading up for the 4th so we'll go up then as well. I'd also like to go for a couple days when Trip and Susan have the cottage and Maggie and Charlie's week as well. We'll see how that all fits in. Other than PIB - I'll be working on my tan, probably going to Columbus a time or two, hoping Maggie comes down here a time or two and relaxing, relaxing, relaxing.
K - well I had better get myself together here because I don't want to be late meeting the ladies. I should be out of school no later than 2:00 today (will of course try for earlier but who knows) and will have a beer in my hand, hopefully, no later than 2:30. YAY SUMMER!!!
