First the coffee wasn't ready when I got up. Second, he forgot to tell me he needed gas. Then when I went to get breakfast ready and put our pills out on the placements the pill containers were empty. I specifically left them out for him to fill yesterday but what did he do instead? He just put them back in their place EMPTY! What's next?! He'll probably just haul off and kick me...punch me in the gut! T'would be the same thing!
Do you like my dramatics? I should start auditioning for some stuff. I think I could really have myself a second career. And with what my pay is going to look like over the next two years - pretty much a pay DEcrease due to insurance, retirement crap and that douche bag Kasich - I could use a new career. Something that actually pays. Hmm...gotta think about that.
In school news - I have a meeting today for a kid coming up to the high school next year. Kid is autistic, pretty low in the sense of functioning socially. Apparently he needs a break every 15 minutes or so (REALLY!?) and has to "walk". I guess he just roams around...awesome. He's a good reader so will definitely need to be in one of my LA classes. His parents, however, are focused on him gaining functional skills. My thought was that he should possibly go into the new MH class for some of his classes...go on the new person's caseload since he's also on alternate assessment (which is bullshit and he shouldn't be on this). Who knows. The JH teacher says that isn't the right placement and of course she would know what's best for him but she also said that Handy, our Downs kid could go into a higher LA class rather than the "low" LA class. Uh, Handy can't read. He can't answer basic questions. He can't tell you why he's laughing. He cries when he's hungry.
Can anyone tell that I'm ready for the year to be over?
