I had an outfit all ready for wear this morning: My hot pink sweater with black pants (the pink sweater is the closest thing to "neon" that I have and for spirit week at school, today is "Neon Day"). Unfortunately, I had to change that outfit to something a bit more fitting for mid-50s. I'm still wearing a sweater but I had to change to a cotton one so I could wear a tank underneath (the pink would have been to itchy on my bare arms). I know how exciting this topic is but it's my way of complaining about this stupid "winter" weather. I live in OHIO! This time last year - we had SNOW and lots of it. I haven't had a snow day YET this year and I am NOT happy about it. And the weather gurus have said they don't see the Canadian weather heading south any time soon. UGH!
In other news - Maggie - I just looked at my blog from a year ago and it's been exactly 1 year since Zoe's diagnosis! WOW!
So that's about all I've got. I'm feeling pretty good - my sore throat is gone but I still have a tickle that wakes me up at night. I told Jim yesterday that I'm going to quit my job. He asked what my plans were and I said I was going to become a stay-at-home-mommy! Zeke, Sami and Bubba were thrilled to hear it. They love when I'm home, I have to say. Especially Zeke who can then go in and outside as much as his bladder desires. By the way - two weeks until Zekey's birthday! He'll be 15?! My goodness! He's still really spry too. Last night he brought me his stuffed tiger and proceeded to whip is around in his mouth and chase it when I threw it! I love him.
