The Never Ending Saga!

Here we go again! Just when I was starting to get back into the groove of school - well, the end of school - I get another email from Jackass - I've changed Mr. Adhd's name by the way. He's requesting another meeting with him and HH. The email also cc-ed my superintendent and told me to feel free in bringing my rep. Uh, yeah - duh! I think from now on, I'll always have a rep with me when meeting with one of those boneheads...even if it's just passing them in the hallway. Anyway, I've emailed Mrs. Ding Dong but I haven't heard back from her. As far as I'm concerned she can take her own sweet time. This is such crap. Who knows what they want to meet for now. Who knows if there will be another player in the mix (superintendent?). We'll see what happens. Stupid morons and their egos...they just can't let this go.

In other school news, I've completed my exams for my two classes - Language Arts and World History. I have one more IEP - tomorrow and now then the only thing I have left is to make the modified final exam for one of my kids taking a regular ed history class. That should be too hard either and I'll probably get to that today.

So yesterday I started a project with my Language Arts class. It's the final writing project and it's based on the novel we just finished (Secret Life of Bees). They are making a cube. On one side is a title, on another is a visual representation and then on the last four sides is a writing piece using a different genre of their choice (journal entry, travel log, postcard, telegram, dear John letter, want add, invitation, list etc.). So before they start anything, they have to wrap the box that I've provided for them with some of the paper that I brought in (x-mas wrapping paper etc.). Never before have I regretted anything so much in my life! These kids are complete morons when it comes to wrapping (and lets face it...not just wrapping). I had one kid who I think unrolled the whole damn wrapping paper roll and just started folding and taping onto the box. By the time he was finished he basically had a big ball of paper. Ridiculous! In the end, Diane and I wrapped most of the boxes ourselves and I told the kids I was scratching the final exam I had made and testing them instead on their ability to wrap a present! They will all fail!

In weather news: The pups are SICK SICK SICK of this rain. Sami called me at work yesterday PISSED because her daddy didn't walk her and she knew I wouldn't be able to take her on her 2 mile walk because of the rain. She's bouncing off the walls. And Bubba! Well, apparently he's so pissed (he hates wet weather because his belly gets all wet because, well, it sort of drags on the ground)...he's so pissed that Jim says he's taken to eating poop or maybe dead, squashed something off the road...Jim wasn't sure. Poor babies. Hopefully today will be better.

K - I must motor. Not that I'm in any real hurry to get to school but what the hell...maybe I'll get something done...or maybe, instead, Maggie will be online and she and I can IM each other. K - later.
