1. I found a gray hair...in my nose!!! I must be old if I have a gray hair up my nose!
2. I forgot about my example for how I must be old in the matter of 10 minutes.
3. I was doing a PowerPoint in history the other day - the struggles between Israel and Palestine - and one of the dates mentioned was 1995. One of my students raised her hand and said, "I was born in 1995!" Me: F&%K!!! (I didn't say that aloud in class) "Well, crap! I was 25 in 1995!"
Yesterday was a good day. Jim and I had a nice breakfast, I walked Sami - a nice long one and it wore her out - and then we went to buy flowers. I managed to plant all my flower boxes on my deck plus 2 potted flowers and 2 hanging baskets. We bought 4 other hanging baskets and those are hung. I got a tomato plant and green pepper plant too...we'll see how those do this year with more sun on the deck. All I have left now is to finish planting some potted flowers - petunias and some impatiens New Guineas. Oh, and Jim needs to do the impatiens out front and we got 5 evergreen bushes to put along the fence line out front. They're tiny now but should look nice once they fill out. We'll see.Other than that, yesterday, Jim and I hung out, ate dinner and watched Survivor! I was very pleased with the outcome - based on who was left in the finally 3...SPOILER ALERT...I loved that Russell, the fool, didn't get one vote. I haven't watched the reunion show and I'm sure he'll throw a hissy fit and claim to still be the number one survivor but whatever, you're a fool Russell.
K - I gotta head to work. It's raining like cats and dogs and I have a pretty major IEP at 8:00. It actually shouldn't be too bad since the mother emailed me last week to say the father wasn't going to be able to make it...GLORY BE!!! Man is a HUGE!!!! JERK!!!! Watch, he'll have changed his flight or plans and will still be in town. Just my luck. I'm out...later!
