5 More Days!!!

5 more days with kids. I'm in hog heaven. Yesterday almost killed me. My one kid - lets call him Bounce - has lost his mind. He doesn't seem to understand anything and I'm trying - really trying not to kill him. This project I did with the kids for Secret Life of Bees - it's a good project but when you can't write worth a lick and you can't listen - well, it's libel to drive me mad and question - "What the f%*k was I thinking?" Either the kids have had it and their brains can take no more or they haven't cleaned their ears out all year and now they've lost the ability to hear! Regardless though, I'm done. The project was completed yesterday (lowest grade 66% - Bounce just couldn't get it together and I'm not sure why a whole bottle of glue is needed to stick one piece of paper on one side of a box) and now we have 2 more classes to prepare for the final exam! YIPPEE!!!!

In long weekend news...Jim's off today, Saturday and Sunday. He has to work Monday but gets holiday pay so that's good. Tonight I think we'll go to Mio's for dinner...I mentioned that to Jim and he seemed excited. Tomorrow we'll go to Raeburn to clean furniture and have a delicious dinner with the family. I think Maggie and Charlie are going to try and make it down (they better) for the day/night. That should be fun. With me, Jim, Maggie, Charlie, Trip and Cullen, we'll crank the cleaning of the furniture out in no time! Sunday, Jim and I might make it downtown to Taste - we'll see how we feel. I'd almost prefer to go down mid-afternoon - 4ish but we'll see what Jimmy Lou wants to do.
