Full Body Amputation!!!

I apologize for my lack of postings lately...truly, it isn't you, it's me! You haven't done anything, really...I just haven't had anything to talk about - not that I ever did - right?!

So, today was typical: Menu planning, grocery, Costco, I got a new pair of shoes (bums me out because they're work shoes - loafers; nice loafers - which tells you that I'm getting back into that mentality again of "work" and that's never good), cleaned the house, laid out, read, mowed the lawn, cooked dinner and watched some Jeopardy and True Blood. By the way, I don't know why I watch Jeopardy anymore because a) it makes me feel like I'm in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's and b) it reminds me that I'm stupid. How did I ever get through college much less graduate school. And did I mention that it's Teen Week?! Fucking teens are smarter than their teacher. I guess that's why I teach the GD speds! EFF!!!

Anyway, have I mentioned too, that I'm falling apart? Not mentally (that's probably been happening for a while and isn't "news")...physically. Today in Kroger I started having knee problems. I haven't been able to put weight on my left side (hmm...could this be a sign that I'm getting a bit on the rotund side?!) If it's not my shoulder...it's my hip. If it's not my hip...it's my knee. I need a full body amputation! How much is lypo? What are the lotto numbers going to be for tomorrow's drawing?

So Jim decided to "take the day off tomorrow". I want to go see a movie but maybe we'll go to the zoo or I'll make him work in the back yard. Maybe we'll go out to dinner! Who knows...I'm just excited he's going to relax tomorrow...he hasn't taken a day off in about 2 weeks. And he's starting softball tomorrow too which means he'll probably be injured soon...oh boy...get ready for the dramatics.

Okay - I think I'll head upstairs and cuddle with my beasts! Later!

Did you realize you just put the big "F" right out there for all to see? Maybe next time you go to the store you ride/shop with a scotter. And lastly good luck to Jim for softball. My poor husband is in extreme pain with maybe a pulled chest muscle or or cracked rib, who knows, but it only hurts when he breathes so he's got that going for him.

I've put the big "F" out there before - it's rare but sometimes I feel the need. Is Chuck going to the doctor?
