Work Day and The Weekend

I'm just about to head into work for the last day before kids start. I have lots to do: Get first day shit together; first week plans made with copies sent out (the copier machine - if it's even set up will be packed with teachers); I need to get my student files organized; I have an IEP meeting Wednesday at 7:30 so I have to prepare for that as well as sub plans; I'm sure there's more but I can't think right now.

We had a great time this weekend - Mom, Anne, Maggie, Madison and I. That needs to become a regular (yearly; semi-annual) thing. There was much game playing (Apples 2 Apples, Uno, Skip Bo, Cranium) and laughing. Mom's eggplant parmigiana was delicious and Maggie's Chicken sandwich concoction was mmm...mmm...good! My lemon squares were only okay but still edible. I missed my Jimmy a lot but we got lots of cuddling in last night (and even got to watch Harry Potter together while falling asleep). Perfect sleeping weather by the way. I wish it would stay like this.

I ended up waking up before my alarm went off this morning (5:30) but that won't happen tomorrow since I'll be back to the routine (4:50) and my body is definitely not ready for that.
