Okay, so I didn't post yesterday for a number of reasons. #1: I'm lazy. #2: I'm boring and had nothing exciting going on. #3 I was having allergy issues and at about 1, I lost my vision and then ended up getting a pseudo-migraine. See, sometimes my allergy medicine makes me all crazy. I was laying there in the sun yesterday, reading when I realized that I wasn't able to see the words on the page. I mean, I could see, in a way, but if I looked straight ahead, I had this huge spot that made everything blurry. So I went upstairs, took a shower, laid in bed, cuddled with Sami and took a short nap. Eventually, the vision issue went away and the headache came on but it wasn't a huge and went away with several ibuprofen.
So last night, Jim went and played poker with the guys. I stayed home and watched 27 Dresses (pretty good; funny) and then went upstairs and watched Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix (awesome; so excited for the Half-Blood Prince in November).
Today it's supposed to be beautiful and cool so we're going to Raeburn to hang. Trip, Susan and J.J. will be there as well. Can't wait. I think I'll kick Trip's ass in volleyball...hmm, that's sounds like fun. And maybe Jim's too.
Other than that, I have nothing exciting. I'm getting a little depressed because of the near future (work). The sped department got an email yesterday from HH (Head Honcho). Apparently, he sent every one of us that video I mentioned and he's "so excited" about what the direction the department is going and isn't it so great what we're doing for kids. And then he mentioned this other regular ed teacher who's lost somewhere in his ass and how she's found all these videos for co-teaching on You Tube and shouldn't we all really just bone up before school starts. I feel like emailing back and saying, "Um, yeah, I just wanted to say, suck it and I'm not doing one thing in preparation for co-teaching prior to the school year starting since you couldn't seem to find it necessary to get your teachers some real training rather than a video which, shit, I haven't even opened yet and I'm sure sucks! Thanks for spending all the districts money though on something totally ineffective. I'm sure the taxpayers who think you are a god would love to hear that. Of course, that's nothing new." God, I need a new attitude. No, I need a new job. Actually, I need a better boss. No, I need to win the lottery. God, I wish I could win. Dear God, you see what's going on here! Have mercy! Send me the winning numbers!
K-I'm going to go read and drink my coffee outside with Sami. Later.

My co-teacher didn't even get the email, so I forwarded it to her and then emailed HH to call him on his ommission. What a dork!!!
