Final Scream by Lisa Jackson

I've just finished the 3rd book in the Twilight series - Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. It was very good. I'm looking forward to reading the final book in the series - which was just released a couple weeks ago but I think I'll wait a bit to let the moment last a little longer. I hate when I finish a series too quickly because then I have nothing to look forward to and I get a little sad. Like the characters have died or something and I'll not see them again. I guess that's the sign of a good writer. Anyway, Eclipse was great. There was a lot of great wearwolf and vampire action. I love her characters but Meyer has definitely set the reader up to be as confused as poor Bella - the main character - in regard to where her heart strings are pulling her. If you haven't read this series - you must. Though it sounds a bit juvenile - for a mid-late 30-year old - it's still enthralling.

I am now onto a "romantic thriller mystery": Final Scream by Lisa Jackson. I've not read this author before but my sister Anne has recommended her (and maybe my mom too). Anyway, this particular book is about Cassidy Buchanan, a journalist haunted by the unsolved mysterious fire that destroyed her family 17 years ago. She returns home after more mysterious fires begin only to find herself in danger when the killer decides he doesn't want her to uncover the truth. Sounds scary, huh? I'm up for a good mystery/thriller!!! I'll let you know if it's worth the read.
