Nice Little Surprise

Jim's on 2nd shift tonight. That's a nice little surprise for both of us. Nice for me who can relax on her own tonight and nice for Jim who can sleep in a bit and get some shit done around the house that he's been putting off. Things like cleaning his room which is a disaster. I think every piece of clothing he owns is either on the floor, in the hamper, in the washer or in the dryer. He also needs to put all the Costco shit away (TP, PT, tissues etc...that's his job). He then needs to straighten the garage, oh and walk Boo. Additionally, he's been tasked to call some tree companies to get estimates for the trees we/I want taken down. We'll see how much he gets done today. It better be everything or he's going to get it!

So I was going to make pork tenderloin for dinner tonight but now that Jim's working, I'll marinate it and save it for tomorrow. Which means leftovers for me and I'm not mad about that. Most likely it'll be Skyline.

There's some shit going down at school again. Another teacher is being investigated. I'm being told it's a bunch of horseshit (it usually is) but the story I've gotten can't be all there is to it. We'll see what happens and I'll let you know if it turns out to be anything. Interestingly, the teachers that are always "targeted" with this shit is always from the group that I know my principal HATES! They're the "pot stirrers" although I don't know that they've really stirred any pot of late but there is always drama surrounding them.

Speaking of my principal, he's gone for the rest of the week. The main reason I care is because I won't have to listen to him drone on during announcements in the morning. He says the most useless thing adding to announcements that don't need additional anything. He should get on there, be short and sweet and allow the teachers to get their classes started. Instead, he does the pledge every day, prattles on with the announcements, tells a dumb fucking joke and then proceeds to explain his dumb fucking joke. You know who's a joke? Glad I won't have to hear him for the next several days.

I'm getting very amped seeing all the early voters out there on Twitter waiting in looooong lines. Georgia, Tennessee, and even Texas. Red states! This bodes well for the good guys. I pray pray pray that two weeks from today we have some relief sprinkled with a ton of hope in this country. We need it.

Okay well time to get a move on. Happy Wednesday! Half way there people. Later!
