Fender Bender

Not me but dumb Jim. Apparently yesterday as he was trying to get into the parking lot of a UDF, he hit some dude or some dude hit him. The problem was, and the reason Jim got cited, he was going in an exit only and then gunned it to try to get around the other dude who wasn't giving him way. Jim keeps going back and forth about going to court to get it changed to "no fault" and asking my opinion. I said, "I wasn't there. If you want to go to court, go to court. That's for you to decide." I did add that more than likely a judge isn't going to suddenly decide to side with Jim rather than a sheriff who had witnesses. He then added, "There's probably video." Really? And what, you're going to go to UDF and ask to see their CCTV (do they call it that anymore?). Detective Jim? Just pay the damn ticket, move on and drive better. Jeez.

I believe Becky is headed to PIB today. Have a lovely time. The weather looks fabulous. Enjoy walks and Dewey and the peaceful setting. Let me know if anything is needed...we'll head back on November 23rd.

Oh, I just remembered I had a dream about Becky. She'd moved to Florida (please don't move to that cesspool of a state) and I was visiting her and she smoked. I was bumming Virginia Slims off her. Weird. Don't remember much else about the dream.

In other news, I replied to FWs email saying passively aggressively berating me for NOT wanting to partake in a time-wasting PD. All I said was, "Great! Thanks. I'd rather not be out of the classroom." I didn't add, "And by the way, the only reason no one else asked to opt out was because you didn't make if clear that it wasn't required. Guaranteed, had you mentioned that, a slew of people would have said, 'Nope'." I also didn't add, "Oh, and why do you think that adding my principal to the email, essentially 'telling on me' means a fucking thing to me? He's useless as are you."

Dinner tonight: Skyline...made from home. Can't wait. Loves me some Skyline!

And that's all I've got. Time to get a move on...I guess. I might take a nice bike ride after school. It's been a while and we're closing in on winter so I should take advantage of these sunny, warm days while I can.

Happy Tuesday! Later!
