Gotta Be Quick

I've got a 7:30 IEP meeting so this will have to be quick not because it's going to be a problem meeting but I have to set up for my 1st period class and leave a note for the sub. Bonus, it's a Zoom meeting (why would a parent want anything else but of course there's always that one) and the kid only has one goal so I expect it to be a lickity split meeting. 

In other news, Jim made an appointment with the cardiologist for October 6th. I'm not sure what they'll do...fingers crossed. 

Oh, BENGALS WIN!!! Thank the baby Jesus! I didn't watch but one or two plays but it sounds like the defense was on fire. Lets hope this is the start of a winning streak! 

Dinner tonight will be pork chops in the instant pot with a honey garlic sauce, broccoli and probably rice. 

They're brining lunch in from Chicken Salad Chick...yummy. I got the lemon basil chicken salad and I'm pretty excited about it. 

We're finally due for some rain overnight and through Wednesday. It's been SOOOOO long and my grass is so dry and brittle. 

I feel like I had something else to talk about but can't think of what it was. Oh!!! Well, GBBO starts tonight in Britain, Friday in the States so that's exciting! Oh, and The Morning  started back up on Apple so I'll have that to watch too! That's exciting. 

Lauren sent a text to verify dinner out with Christie on Friday. That'll be interesting.
