Too Short

The weekend was way too short and it ended with a lot of disappointment. That Bengals game was more than my heart could take. I can't do that every week, that's for sure. Hopefully some of the kinks will be worked out over the next week in preparation for the Cowboys on Sunday. Another team I hate, by the way. 

My weekend was pretty uneventful. We did some reno returns on Saturday but other than that, it was just a chill couple days. 

This week at school will be slightly busy. I have an IEP this morning at 7:30 and another tomorrow at 9:30. It's senior service day today so seniors will be out of the building but that really doesn't affect me as I only have a couple seniors on my caseload and in my classes. 

Dinner tonight: Jim wants Chicken Divan...I'll probably do my mom's recipe. Sometimes I switch it up and do a rendition of Paula Deen's but that one is a bit more "difficult" than I want to deal with this evening. 

It's open window season which makes me so happy. Yesterday wasn't hot but it was crazy humid so I kept my windows closed and AC on but a cold front came through overnight and now it's awesome. I'm hoping to take a bike ride this afternoon...it's been way too long. I kept trying last week but had to deal with the grass. Then this weekend I was going to go on a ride but of course the rain kicked in and foiled my plans. Hopefully I'll get out there today.
