Deep Clean

It's going to be a rainy, humid, nasty day today so I will be doing a deep clean of the house. I've walked the boys and will also get some yoga on here after my post. And then it's time to make this place sparkle. After all that, I'll hunker down and get some school work done. Of course I still can't get to my students' schedules, which is annoying. I mean, they're supposed to "go live" today according to the principal's newsletter so WTF?! Typical typical! 

Speaking of school, I had my first "back to school" dream last night. It was the usual dream where I'm in a mad rush to get shit done before the first day. If I thought I wasn't sleeping well before, I'm sure the next two weeks are going to be twice as bad. 

Last night after dinner, Jim had to go out and get mole killer. They've torn up the backyard and I've been bitching about it to Jim for about 2 weeks and he kept forgetting. I'm sure he didn't want to go out after dinner but I wasn't going to back down. So once he got back, I went out on the deck while he set the worms to supervise and get the boys out one last time before bed. This was about 8:00. And then I saw how long the grass was and with the rain coming, I said, "I need to get out there and mow!" Jim said, "Are you kidding?" I said, "No! If I don't do it now, it'll be too wet after all the rain and we leave Sunday." So, at 8:00 last night I high tailed it out to the back yard and did a quick mow. It only took me about 20 minutes and bing, bang, boom, it was done. 

Every time I go out to the garage and see the pile of stuff we're taking up to the Bay, I think How are we going to fit all this in!? I haven't even gotten all the groceries we're taking. And I have to add the cooler into the pile as well as our luggage. Good think we're taking Jimmy's truck. BTW - I can't wait! 

Well, I've rambled on long enough. Time to get the house cleaned. Happy Thursday! Later!
