Proust Continued (Q's 8-14)

A couple things before I answer the next set of Proust questions. School should be interesting today as it's our first day of remote. Today is really just a test run to iron out kinks and make sure all the kids are able to sign on etc. I plan on doing just Getting To Know You activities as well as some "What do you know" things for history and science. 

Yesterday was a shit storm for me for half my day. My unbalanced, mentally ill student came to run his schedule and as expected, things did not go well. Long story short, he spent most of his day (1/2 day since he has an abbreviated schedule) in the nurses office. I had to track him down and get him back on track. Needless to say, I then had to spend most of my time working out a plan for dealing with his shit. Our behavior specialist will be observing next week and coming up with something. Oh, and when talking to his mother yesterday, she tells me her son forgot to take his meds yesterday. Gee thanks mom! Way to set us up for failure! 

Weekend plans: Nothing is happening tonight. I suspect I'll be out like a light pretty early as I'm exhausted. Saturday Jim and I will be headed to Menard's (and anywhere else if we can't find what we need there) for our shower enclosure. That's the last of our needed materials, I believe, before our reno starts. We're still a couple weeks out from the start but we'll be ready. We'll get a week advance notice and that's when we'll demo. Can't wait. 

Saturday we're going out early with Doug and Lauren. We'll probably head to a brewery and then to a new taco/margarita place nearby called Condado's. Can't wait. Who knows what's on tap for Sunday and Monday. Relaxing on a foretasted beautiful weekend.

8. What do you consider the most overrated virtue? I guess I'd say bravery...that's a tough one though. I just don't think that bravery is something that should be a virtue and something that people strive for. It's okay to be vulnerable and scared. 

9. On what occasion do you lie? When the truth would hurt someone.

10. What do you most dislike about your appearance? Of late? My wrinkles and the bags under my eyes. It makes me hate looking in the mirror!

11. Which living person do you most despise? Do you really need to ask? And I'd say I don't despise or hate anyone...except Donald Trump. And yes, I HATE him...DESPISE him!

12. What is the quality you most like in a man? Honesty

13. What is the quality you most like in a woman? The ability to handle (my) honesty. 

14. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? "Meaning..."
