In other news: My kids took their first Government test yesterday and even using their notes - literally the study guide was EXACTLY what was on the test - most got either Cs or Ds. I mean what!? THE?! F&^K?! Oh well. Today they have a science test and that's going to be a shit storm. My kids are NOT good at math and since I'm teaching physical science this year and our first chapter is about the metric system, I'm guessing it's going to be the same as yesterday. Of course I'll let them use their study guides but I don't have much confidence in their actually using it correctly.
My IEP yesterday went well. It was via Zoom and aside from the fact that my administrator spent the whole time trying to get the main screen to project and fix the sound, it went off without a hitch. (My computer was working fine as well as my student and the parent). My next IEP is on the 30th and I'm not sure what's going to happen with that one. We've talked about writing him off (it's an evaluation meeting as well to see if he's still eligible) so we'll see. I have the IEP mostly written just in case.
Dinner tonight: WW Buffalo chicken fingers. I'll probably serve with baked beans and some carrot fries for me, regular fries for Jimmy.
I took a lovely bike ride yesterday. However, part of my route had some construction and there was loose gravel all over the road. I didn't realize how bad it was until I was halfway through and there was no point in turning around. I came home caked in gravel. Even had gravel in my hair. Still had some this morning when I took a shower. Funny.
Boo got up around midnight wanting to cuddle, which was a problem. See, Boo sometimes wakes up from sleep and attacks. I think he saw Scout sleeping on my pillow behind my head and he wanted some of that. I loved and snuggled with him for about 10 minutes and then made him get down. He was fine with that. Poor guy...he knows not what he does.
Okay well, I had a lot more to talk about than I thought I would. Happy Wednesday! I think I might have a glass of wine tonight! What do you think about that?! Yummy! Happy hump day! Stay healthy and kind...later!
