(I mean you just can't make this shit up! I can't wait until Sarah Cooper comes out with her rendition of this interview.)
Oh, speaking of trump no longer being president - I was walking the dog yesterday and saw two signs in this one yard. The first one said, "And just like a miracle, he isn't president anymore!" And the other one said, "Republicans for Biden" It made me so happy! Maybe I'll go by today and leave some flowers on their doorstep. And I'm not one to put political signs in my yard but I just might have to put a Biden/Harris one in this year.
Yesterday at school was a much better day. Maybe it's because I went in with a better attitude. Maybe it's because I had more kids yesterday (it was my "busy" day). Who knows but I'm trying to turn my frown upside down. Today will be slow because I have several bells with no kids coming but that's okay. I'm still working to get my materials transferred over to all electronic.
Here's my issue of late (because I know you're curious). And let me preface by saying I'm not one of those people who can't seem to find anything good in 2020. I know 2020 sucks with this pandemic and things aren't how we'd prefer it but I have lots of things to be happy and thankful about. Jim's doing well (he had an doc appointment yesterday and though he didn't have a scan - that will be in late October - his oncologist his happy with his path), we're both employed and overall things are good. That being said, however, I feel like my administration is NOT being candid and transparent. I feel like they're not giving us the details they should in terms of numbers of kids/employees who are quarantined and/or Covid positive. Maybe this will change once school actually starts with all kids on Tuesday but I doubt it. I may have a question or two for my union. Just seems that they aren't keeping the teachers and other employees informed about what we're walking into every day.
And that's about all I've got for now. Time to finish my toilette and get a move on. It's a rainy couple of day here in the Cincy area but that's okay, The other side of this weather is a beautiful, low humidity weekend. Three-day weekend! Woot!
K - happy Wednesday! Later! Stay healthy and Covid free!
