Puppy Progress

Progress was made last night with the boys. They only got up once – at 4:00 am – and they weren’t planning on going back to sleep so Jim got up with them. (He’ll have about 2 ½ hours to catch up on any sleep he needs today during his infusion.) I went up to bed around 7:30 to read and Jim came up around 8:00. The boys just laid in bed with us being snuggly and good and smelling like Frito's. At 9:00, Jim got up, let them out one more time and then put them in their crate. They went right back to sleep.

I’ve found that Boo seeks out pillows to lay on. Couch pillows, the pillows on the bed but of course he doesn’t tend to sleep on the dog pillow. Scout does though so that’s good. Scout really likes his jacket and gets excited when he sees it and when I put it on. Boo isn’t as happy about his coat and I need Jim to get it on because he fights it. Once it’s on though he’s fine and when the really cold weather comes, I think he’ll change his tune.

We have an estimate for some tree removal coming today. I told Jim the other day that I wanted 4 trees taken down in the back and didn’t care about the cost. Two of them are behind the fence and really just need to be dropped. The other two are BIG ones in the back yard and leaning right toward the house. I think that if those trees are down I’ll rest much easier and won’t be such a mess during storms and higher winds. We’ll see. I’m sure we’re going to be quoted an exorbitant amount.

And that’s all I’ve got. Jim will most likely work a bit late tonight since he has to take a 4-hour break at 9:00 for his infusion. That’s okay though.
