A Christmas Miracle

I actually woke up today by my alarm! Not puppies yelping; not Jim getting in and out and in and out of bed. It sort of startled me too! Lets hope this continues.

Of course sleeping so well, these puppies are currently losing their minds running around chasing each other and barking. Not a usual occurrence in the mornings. They’re usually pretty chill. Maybe they know that Jim and I are actually BOTH going to work today and they better get as much of their energy out as possible. And maybe they know that their balls are saying bye bye tomorrow and the amount of running around they’re going to be ALLOWED to do is limited.

And now they’re both in the recliner licking each others faces. Man they slay me! So cute. Last night I had them in bed with me and when Jim rang the bells to go out one last time, we all went down, I followed them out to make sure they peed etc. and then we headed right back upstairs. I said, “Get in your cage,” and pointed and in they walked. Good boys!

You know who isn’t a good boy and can’t get back to work soon enough?! Jim! He has been such a pill lately. I can’t even joke around with him because he’s being such a dick. UGH! If he doesn’t get back to normal here soon, I’m He’s saying he feels good and he’s currently in the shower. He said to me a little while ago, “I don’t know if I should go shopping after work...I think I’ll just come home and rest.” My answer was, “Why don’t you decide that later rather than immediately putting your mindset into a place where you’re already picturing yourself exhausted?” It’s what he does and I’ve had about a weeks too much of it.

School was fine yesterday. No one failed my science exam. I had 2 kids absent for my LA exam. I know the one had to be sick because he’s had perfect attendance pretty much every year he’s been with me. Sucks...lots of kids are sick. A lot of them come to school which REALLY makes me mad. Currently my health-o-meter is reading “I hate my nose”. I think it’s the dryness in the house which is causing havoc with my nasal passages. Annoying. I had to go to bed last night clutching a wad of tissue.

Got almost all my shopping (need stocking stuffers) and wrapping done last night. Woot! I’ve been slowly purchasing items for Christmas Eve as well. I’ll make the sauce tomorrow while the boys are at the vet (they’ll be there from about 8-5). I’ll also be getting my hair done! Woot! So happy!
