I made good progress on my school work yesterday and hope to finish things up today so that it will be a smooth transition on the work day. That's never really the case - I'm never completely ready when the students show up - but I'll try and stay positive. Today I'll update schedules with those that have been changed and then hopefully mine will be good and I can send teachers IEPs. We'll see. It's going to be a beautiful day and I don't want to spend it inside on the computer.
Speaking of which, I wanted to ride this morning but I'm not sure I have the gumption. We'll see. I stayed up late and slept late (more on that) so I need to make a decision. Either I get it together soon (don't want to waste the day) or I do some exercising near home. Or maybe I'll ride here at home. Ooh, that's an idea.
Preface: I know most of you don't watch The Bachelorette and don't care, but hey, this is my blog so suck it! Last night was the finale for Bachelorette. I wasn't looking forward to it because I had accidentally seen some things which pointed toward Rachel picking the "wrong" guy. However, I decided that the brief thing I had seen may be wrong so I decided to join my neighbor and have a little viewing party. Of course the spoilers I saw were right but it went further than that. Not only did she choose the "wrong" guy but she really only chose him because the guy she really wanted (the "runner up") wasn't sure about proposing on the spot only knowing Rachel for 6 weeks. He was in love with her (and I think he still is based on last night's interview with him) and she with him but he stated he only wanted to marry one woman and propose to only one woman in his life. And I get it - both sides - but by "breaking up" with Peter gave up the guy she was really supposed to be with. And I kind of feel bad for the guy she did get engaged to because it's so obvious she only went with him because he was the only guy left. UGH! Lets see how long this lasts.
Jim had his 2nd infusion yesterday. All went well. He was home by 6:15 which is great since he was in Clifton and his appointment was at 3:00. It took about 2 hours so that is progress. No problems so far - fingers crossed he continues to feel good. Next appointment is 7/28.
Okay - time to get my breakfast ready and get on the bike. Happy Tuesday! Later!
