Today at work we have the monthly district literacy meetings and I think I might just be feeling a little under the weather. I think by 1:30, I'll need to leave early. Seriously, I don't think I have it in me to sit through another meeting where nothing is learned, nothing is gained and my time is completely wasted. I hate to continually complain about this but seriously, it's so annoying and frustrating. I actually will have to get out the door and in my car by 2:25 because I have a dentist appointment so sorry, hate to be rude but suck it.
Today it's Cookie Monster Day! Love me some Cookie Monster (me okay, me okay) and love me some cookies! Additionally it's National Men Make Dinner Day but I think for both our belly's, we will NOT be celebrating that!
What else? Another day in the 80s today. I mean, it's November 2nd! What the heck!? We hit a record yesterday, btw. This weather does not bode well for my love of fall and winter. I'm a bit concerned that we won't be getting good cold, fire place weather this year. I'm also concerned we won't get any good snow. I need snow!
I believe I'll be calling off next Wednesday. It's been a while since I've had a day away and I need a break. Plus, I know I won't sleep at all Tuesday night (election day) so I might as well plan. I'll put in today to ensure a sub. Fingers crossed.
