Shorty

I have to get going so this will be quick.

The weather is going to be a roller coaster over the next few days. Freezing rain today then just rain with temps rising to the 50s. Wednesday will have heavy rain and possible thunder storms ending with possible accumulating snow (6-9 inches?! WHAT!?). Friday we're supposed to have record low temps. What I'm really hoping for is that we (meaning, ME!) don't have flooding issues. Tomorrow will be a doozy. As for now, I just want to get to school without slipping and sliding.

In school news: Rumors are flying about my former administrator (HH). The rumors are, he's being investigated by the Ohio Department of Ed for embezzlement! There are rumors as well that about discrimination against women. First, there was always a question in my mind about his ridiculous spending and where the money came from. I know as well that people had reported missing money to the treasurer in past years. Regarding the discrimination - we all knew about his distaste/dislike/hatred for strong women and how he would surround himself with a posse of ladies to kiss his ass. A bit sickening. I really hope this all comes out to the masses because I want those who are so enamored of him to suck it and see how their little god has fallen.

I sent a text to my friend who works at the school HH now works in and she said nothing has changed with him. He's turning his new school into what he turned us into and people are starting to call it Kings East.  Funny. I'll do a bit more digging today if I can see what I can see (without being too obvious, of course).

Downtown Abbey was so good but I'm PISSED PISSED PISSED that I have to wait until January to see what happens next!

Here's a funny: I walked into 2nd period yesterday and one of my kids said, "Mrs. Hanke! My pen doesn't work...can you try it?" So I pick it up and go to click the clicker and...zzzzzttttt!!! I get a little jolt! Needless to say, I threw the pen across the room (not because I was pissed but because of the shock) and it broke into pieces on the floor. It was rather hilarious but I was so lucky I didn't spew a bunch of cuss words. Kids are silly! (In my head I was saying, "F&%KING KIDS!!!") You'd think I taught kindergarten!

Okay - I'm out. Happy Tuesday. Got a negotiations meeting after school. We're giving our proposal to the board, lawyers and admins. Crossed fingers. Later!
