I will say it again: I am more than ready for a break. It isn't that the kids are driving me crazy or that work is a bear. In fact, things just got a little easier for me as I had a senior NOT qualify for sped services yesterday which means less paperwork for me at the end of the year. No, it's just I need to sleep in! I need more than a weekend where I can sleep past 5AM! I woke up again this morning confused about what day it was and wondering why the alarm was blaring to Chicago. I had been having such an interesting dream too. Of course it featured people at school and that's another sign that I need some time off.
Today is going to get to near 70!!! Woot! I'm wearing flip flops for the first time this year. Not to complain but wearing them for the first time today, the area between my toes are a little sensitive. This has never happened to me before so that's annoying.
What else? Nothing. I've got nothing. Oh, Mom! Have a safe flight and an easy travel day!
And that's about all I've got. Best finish getting ready...I have another 7AM meeting this morning...not my meeting the slacker, inept school psyches ETR meeting. She's so annoying. Oh, so here's how unprofessional she is. Yesterday I was in another meeting with her and the parent was asking if it would be okay for her daughter to bring a saline spray to school to combat the bloody noses (noses? is that right) she's been getting. The principal happened to be in there as the district rep and he answered that they should just run it by the nurse. He then joked and said, something about basically having a pharmacy in his office for the chronic colds he's been getting. The psyche then says, "Do you have any ibuprofen in there?" He said, he did and she said, "Can I get some!? That would help me out a lot right now!" Really? She made it sound like she was either all hung over or that particular meeting was giving her a headache. Maybe I'm overly "sensitive" to her stupidity because she's so...well, stupid but for real!
Okay - I'm done being mean. Time to finish getting ready. Later!
