Stank!

I turned off the TV last night and the Seahawks had a solid lead. Unfortunately, that did not hold. Stink! Hate the Pats but what can you do?!

I'd like to take this time and platform to apologize to my husband. Why? I found the key to the china cabinet. Where? In the pocket of my sweater I was wearing when we moved the furniture out last Sunday. To my defense, I did say that I wasn't entirely sure he was to blame. Woops.  As I was lying in bed on Saturday night I was trying to remember what I wore when we moved the stuff out. Figuring it out, I thought - hmm...I should really check that sweater's pocket. Forgot to do that until later on Sunday. Oops. Sorry Jimmy. He wasn't mad at me though...he was just glad it was found.

So this week will be slightly busy at work. I have a 7:00 AM meeting tomorrow (not mine - the inadequate school psyches but a sped teacher is required to be there) which means I'll miss the staff meeting. On Tuesday I also have the Focus Group thingy for the union in preparation for negotiations. That will be from about 2:30 - 3:45. I'm manning the "calendar" table. They did this last week and only 10 union members showed up for the whole district. All I have to say is don't bitch and complain when we negotiate a contract you don't like. I wish more of these people would take an interest in their union.

On Thursday I have my doctors appointment for my shoulder. I had a tough night last night. I rolled over at one point and thought I was going to die from the pain and then I thought my shoulder was about to pop out of socket. It's never happened to me but it kept popping and hurting and scaring me. That's the last thing I need/want to happen. Ugh.

Jim's birthday dinner will be next Saturday - can't wait. His birthday is Sunday. I'll probably get his a little something (Wii game or something) but the carpet is really his gift...and the fact that I found the key and that was my fault should count for something, right?

Jim and I managed to clean out nearly the whole basement. The only thing left is to take the rest of the garbage out next Sunday (I hope the garbage guy takes what we put out there this week) and Jim needs to go through a couple of boxes (junk) that he's been holding on to. I don't now why. I get some of it - there's a bumper sticker from when his mother ran for some office in Cincy but then he's got a STACK of bicycle magazines that he'll never look at again and newspaper clippings that are falling apart because they haven't been taken care of. I'm just happy he didn't bitch about all the crap I did throw away. We are still contemplating how we'll structure the framing/storage but we'll figure it out.

And that's it. Roads seem okay here. The wind managed to dry most of the rain that fell last night. There are some flurries falling here and there but not causing any problems. And...I'm out. Later!
