Sami's So Confused

First - here's Eva enjoying the sun and pool in Punta Cana. Loves her!

Granted, I've gotten up every morning this past week by 5:30 (thank you Sami) and that is early but today my body naturally got up at 4:45. Sami hadn't even gotten up yet and she was rather confused as to what I thought I was doing but alas, it's back to the grind. Not sure that we WON'T get a delay tomorrow with record lows scheduled to hit but I think we'll still have school. I should probably say, "I need to get back to a routine" and "it'll be good to get back into the classroom" but realistically, I had a perfectly good routine going with the days off last week (wake up, coffee, mimosa, breakfast, Wii, bath/shower, lunch, more Wii, reading, dinner, TV, sleep) and even with all the days off last week, I know there will still be kids who will bitch and complain that they had to come back. Oh well.

I start physical therapy after school today. Not sure how I feel about this. Last time it just proved to be a bit of a waste of time. Thankfully, the shoulder pain I had from the cortisone shot is gone so that is something. This week will be a busy one with after school shit as well. Wednesday and Thursday I have union meetings from 4-6. I'll at least be able to get some shit done during that time.

What else? Nothing. Saturday was fun (Terri's bridal shower/bachelorette party). We went to a place in O'Bryonville where they do events. There was one other party there and what do you know, it happened to be the 60th birthday party for one of our secretaries at work. When I walked in and she saw me I think she thought, "Muir...what the hell are you doing at my party?!" She of course didn't say this and I immediately said, "Happy birthday! I'm not here for your party!" It was quite funny. Anyway, Saturday was fun...a little dicey with the drive down (mostly on the side streets) and the ride home was a little dicier as the temps had dropped but we all managed to get there and home safely.

I'm now ready for this snow to go away. Sami seems a bit down with no walk in her future from me. I told Jim he needed to get her out and about for a quick jaunt at some point today.

Well, I best mosey. I need to dry my hair since it's so cold. Later! Happy Monday.
