So today is going to be a lazy day I think. We've eaten breakfast and I've walked Sami. I'm taking a day off from running. I think we'll head to Shooters at some point...get a little Mega Touch in...we haven't been in about a month so I think we're due.
Yesterday we went to Old Navy for $1 flip flops, having no idea of the mayhem we were in store for. That place was PACKED! Ridiculous really that people get all hopped up for dollar flips but then I reflected and thought, "Well, Muir, where are you right now and what are you doing? Uh, getting all hopped up for dollar flips." I ended up getting three pair of flips, a sweatshirt that is soft as a babies bottom, a cute little cotton skirt, a cardigan and Jim got a pair of flips. All for under $35. Not bad.
From there we went to Costco...got the pork for my meal at PIB (pulled pork). Got some pre-made chicken burgers that we had last night...pretty good. Beyond that, yesterday was pretty relaxing. I did some sewing of my quilt, watch some BB footage and then around 5 we went out to the circle and hung out with the neighbors.
BTW - I can't believe it's been a month that I've been on break. It's going too fast...well, I won't think of that right now.
K - well, that's about all I've got. I think I'll chill out now...as opposed to what I've been doing since I woke up. K - later!
