Today I'll pack up the car with everything I can - dry goods, etc. - and set it up for the where the dogs will ride. I think I'll drive and have Jim sit in the back with Sami on one of the folded down back seats. She's never ridden in a car long distance and though I'm sure she'll be good - I want one of us to be within reach of her so that she doesn't try to hop back with Bubba. He'll be in the way back snuggled in with a pillow. I'm hoping he doesn't get car sick tomorrow but I'll give him a motion sickness pill just in case. We hope to leave, no later, than 7AM. I'll get up at 5AM, get my last minute packing done, shower, make breakfast and then off we'll go. Can't wait. Ooh, and I need to get to the library today to get a new book on CD. Jim liked the John Grisham I've been listening to so I'll try to get another of his.
Speaking of books, I just finished my latest and it was a 5 star read! So good! This author (Mary Lawson) is so amazing.
In ice cream news - my chocolate ice cream was AMAZING!!! It was/is so yummy and chocolatey! You can't believe. I'll definitely take it up with me and first thing I'll make is vanilla. I've got some syrups and magic shell so it'll be perfect.
In window news, the guy came yesterday and measured. He's supposed to call today to schedule the installation. Probably will happen after we go to the Bay in July. We get home the 8th so I'm thinking right then. I'd like to schedule Sami's teeth cleaning for the same day so I won't have to worry about her while the installers go in and out of the house...we'll see.
And that's about all I've got. I'm taking my computer up to the bay with me but I don't know if they've gotten the wifi up and running yet. Lets hope so. K - well safe travels to me and I'll talk at you all later!
