Lofty Goals

I have lots to do today...who knows if I'll get it all in. I plan on walking Sami, running on the treadmill, showering (that's a must do). I then need to head to Costco and Kroger...I'll stop by the library on the way home and then when I get home I need to bake bread, make juice and wow, I think that's it. Of course I'll make dinner too.  I'd love to mow the backyard but I don't think that will be possible until Wednesday with the rain we've gotten and the rain we might get.  Granted, I'm a lady of leisure in the summer but I'm exhausted just looking at that list. YAAAAWN!

So Jim and I went to Walmart yesterday (got a new blender...which rocks...can't wait for another smoothie later...add that to the list above).  Anyway - while there, we heard an announcement from the pharmacy about getting your meds for pets there.  So I'm thinking...hmm...I spend about 100 bucks a month on Bubba's meds...I wonder if this were possible and if it would really save us money.  So Jim went and talked to the pharmacist.  The one med we give Bubba - Cephalexin - costs about 80 bucks a month at the vet.  From Walmart?  $16.  SIXTEEN DOLLARS!  I'm actually kind of pissed about this.  I was telling Maggie and she said her vet often tells her that a med they need to get can be purchased cheaper at a regular pharmacy.  Why hasn't my vet offered that?  Am I that stupid?  UGH!  So, it's Jim's job today to call the vet and get all our prescriptions called in or at least written up for Kroger (they offer the same as Walmart).  I could have saved so much money already!  UGH!

Okay so that's about all I've got.  Best get dressed and walk Sami.  Later!
