Whew! Quite a little workout I just had. I did my 2 mile walk with Sami and then did 2 1/2 miles on the treadmill. Feels good. I figure I best get in as much as I can over the next two days because there won't be as many workouts at PIB. I'll definitely try to walk and the wave runner is a work out but you know...with all the eating and drinking...I need to prepare.
So my plans today are to get as much done as I can...grocery, laundry, cleaning etc. Jim will do laundry tonight and pack as much as he can. Cullen will spend the night on Tuesday so we can be up and out early, early, early on Wednesday. Can't wait!
So I'm on the fence here regarding my meal (each of us is going to do a dinner while up at the PIB). I'm going to do a crock pot pulled pork BBQ, cole slaw, chips, pickles. Here's what I was thinking: The crock pot part of the meal takes 12 hours so I have to at least do the that part the day before. Should I do that part here at home tomorrow and just have it all shredded and ready for the last part of cooking on the day I serve? Would that make more sense? That way I could bring up my smaller crock and not have to do much (not that its time consuming or anything). Hmm...
In other news - is anyone else loving Big Brother this season? And by anyone, I'm talking to Kim and Diane (although I'm not sure Diane actually reads this). Loves me some mindless reality!
Okay well, I'm going to make my smoothie, relax outside for a few and then shower and start my errands. Ooh, I need to get to the library too...pick up a new book on CD.
