Bad Dog

So there's a neighbor dog in the, well duh, neighborhood, whose name is Darwin. He has the shape and size of an Australian Shepherd but the coloring of a Bernese Mountain dog - cute (just like the picture shown)!  Anyway - Darwin likes to break through his electric fence and come into our little cul-de-sac to sniff around (he lives behind us - through the woods) . He's done this several times and most recently because a baby was born in his family. I guess he's feeling a bit jealous and neglected and so dashes for a little extra attention.  This morning he was sniffing around at Jane's when I was coming in from my walk with Sami - which meant that I had to pick Sami up (she's not nice to others) and walk (talk about UGH! I'm now covered in Sami fur since I was sweating bullets when I lifted her).  Anyway, Jim has this family's number in his cell and he called the guy.  Apparently this dog is too smart for it's own good and the minute his owner isn't paying attention to him or focuses his attention elsewhere, he's off. He breaks through his electric fence and jumps split rails.  Now that's a bad dog.  Thankfully he has a GPS and the owners are always able to get him home.  That would drive me batty!

In other bad dog news - Maggie and Charlie's pool work was put on hold today.  Kind of a load of bullshit.  They were supposed to have the fence put up and the pool was supposed to get the last of the tiling and coloring.  Neither is happening today which means it probably won't get filled until at least Sunday.  Bunch of shit!  Don't they know I'm going to be there on Monday!?  Anyway - the pic was taken last night by Charlie.  You can see some of the tiling and in the background - who do we have?!  Maggie and sweet Eva. The area on the left - next to where you see Maggie - is where the gazebo will go.  It's going to look so great when it's all complete.  Can't wait!

So my plans today - who knows.  I need to go to the bank but other than that I've got nothing.  I may do some school work or lay out for a bit or both.  I'd like to finish my book too...it's really very good.  That's about all.  I need to head up to run with my friends Kelly and Michael so I best hit the road.  Later!
