Mental Instability

How freakin' nuts do you have to be to shoot your kids for being "mouthy"?  Talking about that Tampa mother who killed her 13 year old son and 16 year old daughter (apparently while she sat at her computer studying).  I'm nuts but I'm not that nuts! 

So, it's Sunday.  Had a good day yesterday and by good I mean my house finally got cleaned!  It was driving me nuts (not so nuts, however, that I wanted to shoot my sweet babies for shedding).  See, usually, we clean every Saturday but with Zeke being an invalid last week and confined to the family room - I didn't want to traumatize him more than he already was (he HATES!!! the vacuum) so we skipped the big clean for the week.  Needless to say, I was constantly picking up little tumbleweeds all week - UGH!!!  Anyway - Jim started upstairs around 8:00 and I joined him to clean my bathroom.  I then headed to the kitchen to clean and when I'd finished there - I left the rest to Jim so I could head out to get A) a new coffee maker (ours went kaput) B) the movie Hamlet (which 1/2 price didn't have) and C) groceries.  After that somewhat productive outing, I came home and Jim and I headed to Shooters for some drinks and screen touching. Dinner last night was Chicken burgers, broccoli salad and fries - it was deeeelicious. 

Today's plans are:  Breakfast at First Watch.  From there we'll go to the 1/2 Price in Kenwood (I went to the one in Deerfield yesterday) to see if they have the Hamlet movie I'm looking for.  After that - who knows.  I need to figure out what to have for dinner - maybe chicken stir fry wraps and a salad - yum.  Done.  There's no football today so I'll probably just hang at home and work on my knitting and quilting.  I think my finger is healed enough at this point to put a thimble on it.  Thank God.  It hurt for a week.  Throbbed like a motha!!!

K - well - I'm going to head out and get ready for some delicious breakfast!  Can't wait!  Yummy!
