The Final Day

Yesterday's day off only made me want to NOT go to school today.  At least it's the last day though before break.  I hope there isn't a sheet of black ice on my way there...that would suck. 

So, I slept like a baby last night for the first time in forever!  First of all, Jim didn't snore!  AND!!! Zeke didn't get up and bark at the door.  In addition, I think I found a solution to Jim's recent horrible snoring jag.  Last night Jim came home completely spent and sore.  He had removed snow all day and was achy and freezing.  So...I ran him a bath and he soaked for about a half hour.  I think this may have cleared him up and soothed his nasal/throat passages.  Because of this he didn't snore and so, wasn't forced to go into the spare bedroom to sleep. Interestingly, Zeke didn't get up either.  So, here's my theory on why Zeke has been getting up (all Jim's fault): See, Jim goes into the spare room when his snoring gets out of control.  This is also where Zeke always sleeps.  Jim goes there and snores and bothers poor tired Zeke (remember, when Zeke used to sleep on the floor on Jim's side of the bed - if Jim snored, Zeke would pop up and wake his daddy up).  Zeke's way of dealing with this is to get up, bark at the door in the kitchen thus, stopping Jim from annoying him.  Get it?  Zeke is one smart puppy and Jim is a trouble maker!
