Not To Be Mean But...

You all know that tomorrow I'm having my MRI, right? Well, I get this phone call today from Beacon just to get some medical history prior to the procedure (pretty typical). I talked to a woman named Faith and can I just say that she was probably the most annoying person I've ever talked to in my life! If she called me "kiddo" one more time, I was going to have to stick my fist through the phone line to punch her in the freakin nose. And you know she's younger than I am, I could tell by her voice. I didn't mind the "sweethearts" too much (after I had been called "kiddo" 200 times) but even those were a bit much as well. I mean, lady! Have I ever met you? Are you my sweetheart? NO!!! UGH! Someone needs to tell this woman that people don't like being called "kiddo" unless you are the person's actual "kiddo" and even then, it's a little patronizing. And annoying! Maybe I'm just being grumpy because I'm hungry. Nah! It's annoying, right?
