Snow Day #5

Well, I didn't have to take a sick day today because school was called off late last night due to the snow and ice. I'm glad for many reasons but mainly because I know that Diane and Lisa were feeling poorly yesterday and won't have to deal with all the kids for a whole three days.

The roads here seem to be clear but there are patches of black ice, according to the news teams. They are saying that it is much better than they had hoped but that people need to be aware that what looks clear could still be ice. I would bet by about noon or 1, things will be in the clear until the snow starts around 4ish. Man, what a crazy weather week.

So I had some crazy dreams last night. The main one that I remember was Jim and I were remodeling our home and had ripped out a pantry in the kitchen. For some reason, Fritz had come in when Jim and I weren't there to check on our progress. Well, he went snooping and found on a high shelf in the ripped out pantry, a diary of mine. In it, I had written (and this is a quote) that my "brother-in-law, Fritz is a crazy, fu$&ing nincompoop". He apparently then told Jim about finding my diary and then Jim made the huge mistake of telling me that his brother had gone through our things and found and read my diary. I then forced Jim to give me Fritz's home phone number and called him and left a 5 minute long message. Basically it said that he was no longer welcome in my home or even calling my home, "forever". I also sad he was a horrible person that didn't deserve a relationship with Jim or me. I was pissed. It was pretty funny - at least when I woke up and remembered this. I didn't think I had such anger issues for Fritz but maybe I do.

Okay - I'm going to go upstairs and rouse Bubba. He twisted his right paw again and I need to help him get downstairs and outside. I'll take him out front so he doesn't have to deal with the stairs on the deck. Poor little Bubba. This is the second time in 2 weeks he's done this. And he never complains or cries or whines.

More later - maybe. I have to clean and figure out how to get Maggie from Trip's.
