We are closed today! Yeah! We have one more snow day left and the way Friday is shaping up, there is a possibility that we may have to use our last one then. That would work out well for me because I'm thinking of taking the day off school anyway so that I can be home for Mom and Richard or help in any way with others coming in for Aunt Sister's funeral. I know that I've taken a ton of days off lately but you know, I started the year with about 75 sick days and considering for the past 7 years I've only taken 1 or 2 or at most 3 each year, I think I can cut myself a break.
On another note, I'm assuming that our Parent/Teacher Conferences have been cancelled too and unless I hear dfferent, I'm staying home and chilling with my pups. Can I just say how happy I am that we don't have conferences and that we don't have to give that stupid presentation to the incoming freshmen parents?
Okay - I'm going to go upstairs and dry my hair since I happened to be getting out of the shower when the "closed" call came.

I would totally be taking Friday off if I were you. It's not like you'd just be taking the day off to get weighed and measured and then drive to Michigan or anything. :-) You have a legitimate reason. Do you really think they would make us come in for conferences? Oooh, that would stink!!!
I am with Lisa about friday. Nobody would expect you to come in and if "THEY" did, then screw "THEM".
