It's a Miracle

I actually slept through the night! I'm so relieved. I haven't slept through the night for about a week. And by "sleep through the night" I mean that I don't wake up and lay there, unable to fall asleep for an hour or two. I know that I woke up slightly when I rolled over a couple of times - mainly because I have to maneuver in such a way to avoid leg cramping due to Bubba (he's such a bed hog!) but I was still able to fall right back to sleep. My eye stopped twitching too. (They say that is a sign of fatigue.)

So, Maggie flies in tonight. She's got an 8:30 flight out of LAX (I assume) this morning and then arrives in CVG at around 6:30. Lynne is picking her up and she's staying with her tonight. Tomorrow may be dicey in regard to the weather so who knows when I'll see her.

Mom, the weather guys have been saying that we will get some snow this evening and then overnight tonight we may get some accumulating ice but that it should be turning over to rain around 10AM which may possibly wash away some of the ice. I would say that arriving here after noon is your best bet for safety on the roads.

On another sucky note - they've rescheduled Parent/Teacher Conferences to next Wednesday which chafes my arse. I hate them. Oh well, I guess I can suck it up and not complain considering all the nice snow days we've gotten this year.

Okay - I best go and finish getting ready. It's freaking freezing here (3 degrees) and I need dry my hair a little so it doesn't freeze when I step outside. Thank God my car sits in the garage though! My eyeballs are watering thinking about how cold it is. Later.
