My 1,936th Monday (Approximately)!

So it's Monday and it looks like we're going to get some weather tonight. Larry Hanley - from WCPO (I love him) - says 3-5 inches and some ice. Now, tomorrow was to be my shoulder MRI but I'm calling today to reschedule because I'm not driving at 6:30 in the morning, all the way to freakin Harrison to get a 10-inch needle stuck into my arm in the ice and snow (I typed snot...hee hee). Maybe I'm a chicken and baby but if there's a chance of a snow day, I'm not ruining it by torturing myself in traffic for a big scary needle. I don't know what other days they can do the MRI but I'm hoping for Wednesday. I would assume they could do it any day because it's most likely done by a nurse and technician but who knows. I certainly won't do it on Friday since Lisa's sick that day.

Yesterday, Jim and I went to Emily's (Jim's sister) for his birthday party. It was really nice. Emily had a friend that she works with at the Taft Museum help serve and clean up. His name's Les and he's from Scotland and I could have sat there and listened to him talk for hours. I kind of did too. I love the way he rolls his r's and says "hoose" for house. Anyway, Jim's cousin Fran and her husband John were there as well as his Aunt Mary (Jim's mom's sister) and of course Rob and his lady friend Carol. It was nice to see everyone and I think Jim really enjoyed himself. He wore an "I'm 40" button all day, I think to remind himself that he has actually turned 40! He kept looking at it and laughing. Better than crying. Hell, these are the best years of his life...everyone says that about your 40s. We'll see.

So, I better get up to blow my hair partially dry. The temperature is about 10 degrees with a windchill of -1. Yowza. Some schools have a delay which I don't understand but I am jealous. Oh well. Best head. I have a dentist appointment too, after school. Must go scrub my teeth extra well. Later.

Ooh, and I keep forgetting to tell Maggie (I assume, Aunt Kathleen that you already know) that Jeffery got engaged and is getting married on June 27th! Yeah!
